The Challenge

Managing a high-volume real estate media business requires coordinating multiple moving parts: client bookings, photographer availability, equipment allocation, delivery deadlines, and payment collection. The challenge was to build a system that could handle this complexity while remaining fast, reliable, and easy to use for staff with varying technical skill levels. The portal needed to reduce manual work, minimize scheduling conflicts, and ensure consistent service delivery.

The Solution

Developed a centralized portal using CakePHP with MySQL for robust data management and AngularJS for a responsive, real-time user interface. Implemented role-based access control for clients, photographers, and administrators. Built automated workflows for job creation, photographer assignment, and invoice generation. Integrated calendar systems for scheduling, SMS/email notifications for updates, and payment gateway integration for seamless transactions. The architecture includes real-time status tracking, automated reminder systems, and comprehensive reporting dashboards to give management full visibility into operations.
